  • 1995: secondary school, modern orientation (language and science)
  • 1997: secondary school, technical orientation (electromecanics)
  • 2001: high school, electromecanics
  • 2001: Audio engineer course organised by vfj
  • 2002: started a sound engineer course at TRAX ARS gent - great distinction
  • 2003: apprentice at the theatretour of Jan Leyers

Employment 

  • 1997 & 1998: electrician for itb technics (vacation job)
  • 1999: worked as salesman for selfmade DIY shop(vacation job)
  • 2001: 1st maintenance technician at EREA transformers Wijnegem to pay for my audio engineer course
  • 2003: system engineer at Jan leyers' theatertour
  • 2003: worked as an assistant sound engineer for EML productions
  • 2004: founded rockstar recordings, opening of our B-studio with protools HD2 recordings system, Control 24, Mackie HR24..
  • 2006: left EML to become freelance audio engineer for EML and own bands
  • 2006: DSW ELECTRO part time job as salesman, installer for bose, surround systems, flatscreens and multiroom systems, programmer for philips pronto remote controls
  • 2008: opening of our A-studio at rockstar recordings with protools HD3 system, SSL 4000 G+ mixing desk, vintage microphone collection, perfect acoustic qualities, B&W/genelec/NS10-monitoring system etc..
  • 2010: Became fulltime Sound engineer specialized in studio recording and -mixing and livemixing for bands. Touring around europe an visiting all big festivals as FOH engineer for Black Box Revelation.

  • Werchter festival with bands such as Pixies, Lamb, Muse, and many many more as freelance audio engineer for EML(yearly)
  • Pukkelpop festival with bands such as Metallica, Faith no more, Placebo, and many many more as freelance audio engineer for EML(yearly)
  • Night of the proms european tour. Classical orchestra on tour together with artists such as James Brown, Joe Cocker, Shaggy, Roger Hodson and many more as a freelance audio engineer for EML
  • Night of the proms symphonic show. Recorded the orchestra and artists for their weekly show at France2 television channel. 8 million viewers. recorded and co-mixed.
  • Mago de Oz one month tour through spain with one of the most popular spanish metal bands as a freelancer for EML
  • In the meanwhile recorded a lot of Cd's and demo's in rockstar recordings' B-studio
  • Recorded Full cd for KOP "premiere recolte"
  • FOH technician at muziekodroom, hasselt, limburg
  • FOH and MONS technician at Ancienne Belgique Brussels
  • Toured a big part of europe and UK in cars, tourvans and nightliners with bands, artists, and big productions.
  • Recorded Waldorf's cd "Twelve seconds to none"
  • Recorded, mixed and mastered Icarus' cd "Meet my cellar door"
  • Recorded, mixed and mastered Honky Tongue's full cd and promo single.
  • FOH technician for The BLACK BOX REVELATION(played at werchter, pukkelpop, Jazz Montreux, supporting Iggy and the Stooges,..) MIA AWARD FOR BEST LIVE ACT(!)
